Last updated: [DATE]

1. What This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy explains what information Convo collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

Account information

Your name (if provided), email address, and password (stored in encrypted/hashed form).

Call data

When you use Convo during a live call, we process audio captured by your device's microphone to generate a text transcript in real time. We store the resulting transcript, call metadata, and any notes or contact information you choose to save. See our Terms of Service for important information about your own responsibility to obtain any legally required consent before recording a call.

Payment information

Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number ourselves.

Usage data

Information about how you use the app to help us improve the Service.

3. How We Use Information

4. Who We Share Information With

We share information with the following third-party service providers, solely to operate the Service: Deepgram (transcription), Anthropic (AI coaching), Stripe (payments), and Supabase (data storage). We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data Retention

⚠ Still an open decision: how long are call transcripts retained, and how can users request deletion? This should be finalized as a real, stated policy.

6. Your Rights

You may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information depending on your location. You can delete individual call records or your entire account through the app, or by contacting us.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls.

8. Children's Privacy

Convo is not intended for use by anyone under 18.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will notify you of material changes.
